Welcome to the Rio Vista Elementary PTA Web Site!


Rio Vista Elementary is a wonderful, closely connected school community on the rise! With the combined efforts of students, teachers, administrators, parents and all supporters, our school’s API score has risen from 605 in 2000 to 866 in 2011!

The goal for the future of the Rio Vista PTA is to unite people by working together to improve our school environment through volunteer work to operate enriching events and through fundraising to support educational improvements.  We welcome all to explore the site, as every hand is a helping one.

Where Does My Money Go?

Each time you donate to the PTA, attend a restaurant fundraiser, buy a raffle ticket, buy groceries at Ralph’s, or sell See’s Candy, you are helping our school.  Here's a list of some of the items the Rio Vista Elementary PTA funds
• Field Trip Transportation for all students
• ETMLA Music Classes & Ballroom Dancing
•Teacher’s Wish Lists for Their Classrooms
• Field Trip T‐Shirts (for safety)
• Instructional Materials (school supplies)

• Support of the School Budget
• Tech Support for the School
• Fifth Grade Culmination

VALET VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are in need of volunteers to help with the morning and afternoon Valet Drop-off and Pick-up.  Please contact cglove23@yahoo.com if you can spare 20 minutes a day, a week, a month or only occasionally.  

Golf Tournament Committee Needs Volunteers

We are gearing up again to start planning for this summer’s Golf Tournament. If you are interested in joining the planning committee, please contact me. We’d be happy for any and all help you can provide.
